St. Irie’s Foundation, founded in 2022, is inspired by Mrs. Irie Jones’ life and values. Psalm 37:37’s timeless wisdom guides our faith, knowledge, and family values as we follow the best of Christianity. Mrs. Jones’ resilience and dedication inspire us to help the needy. Remembrance, admiration, and a common commitment to aiding Maryland’s less fortunate may improve our community. We appreciate your gifts, which help us continue this critical work of empowerment and development.

Our Services

We empower and uplift black women via a variety of programmes and activities. Our programmes are designed to promote personal and community growth, so the advantages go beyond the individual.

Spiritual and Educational Enrichment

We value information and personal progress. Our spiritual and educational enrichment programmes help black women achieve personally and professionally. Through courses, mentorship, and a supportive community, we assist black women reach their potential, achieve their objectives, and grow continuously.

Health and Wellness Services

The emotional and mental wellness of black women is our primary focus. Our black women-specific health and wellness programmes promote healthy lifestyles, preventative care, and quality healthcare. By keeping black women healthy, we improve our community’s basis.

Economic Growth

Independence and self-sufficiency require economic empowerment. Black women may take ownership of their finances with our economic development counseling, tools, and opportunities. We promote neighborhood economic growth to make Maryland stronger and more affluent for everyone.

The Need for Self-Care for Black Women

Black women handle complex racial, gender, and socioeconomic factors. Social expectations, systemic disparities, and daily stresses can be overpowering. This is why self-care is essential to their health. Reclaiming their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness helps individuals flourish despite adversities.
